HOW IT ALL STARTED
"An idea came out of the blue from a random coffee session between me and Lambert. We haven’t seen each other since ECQ of 2020 so when we got a chance to schedule a meet-up over coffee, this light bulb moment just happened. I guess you can call this a passion project which is now turning out to be a serious business venture for both of us. Lambert has been in the industry for 24 years, 15 of which were dedicated to the ice cream manufacturing business. His passion for ice cream is not that far from my passion for my liquor.
We have currently developed 12 flavors, the last one “Out and Proud” is in support of LGBTQ+’s Pride Month this June.
Difficulty in being in business with relatives (or friends) could be a misconception in my opinion. Both Lambert and I came from different corporate worlds but we practice the discipline that was inculcated to us by our peers from the industry. He has (he’s now retired) been with the world’s biggest food manufacturer, Nestle and I am still with CNN International."
Lambert Nunez has worked for a multinational company for 24 years. He may be considered a novice entrepreneur, equipped with valuable tools in management, manufacturing and quality. In his 15 years working in the Nestle ice cream factory, he has been trained extensively in ice cream and yogurt manufacturing in France and has headed its local manufacturing.
Though Lambert is not formally trained in R&D, his passion for ice cream has enabled him to develop popular and unique flavors, using the best ingredients available. Lambert’s expertise in food manufacturing and quality go hand in hand with his competencies in manufacturing excellence, the specialization of the consultancy business that he set-up.
This new chapter in Lambert’s life has provided him the energy to pursue his passions, with a strong drive to succeed in whatever endeavor and situation that life brings.
Luigi’s core competencies, strategic marketing and business development, stems from his discipline brought about by decades of representing CNN International and other foreign media outfits for advertising sales.
Being a “serial entrepreneur” Luigi aka “MrBBZ” strives to continue his quest to develop new business opportunities amidst the new normals.
